The 2-part heart model from HeineScientific can be taken apart and thus provides an insight into the inner structure of the human heart. The elaborate colouring of the anatomy model illustrates all important structures, including arteries and veins. Since the anterior heart wall can be removed to reveal the atria, ventricles and valves, the anatomical model is ideal for illustrating not only the function of the heart muscle but also blood circulation. The model of the heart is approximately life-size. It is fixed to a plastic base with a metal stand for storage or presentation.
