The ALIVECOR® Kardia 12L is a portable 12-lead resting ECG system designed to record a complete 12-lead ECG quickly and efficiently while reducing space and time requirements. The system is intended for healthcare professionals and trained staff in medical facilities and supports ECG diagnostics for patients aged 18 years and older. The solution combines a compact ECG module with the KardiaStation™ app on a smartphone or tablet. ECG data are transmitted wirelessly via Bluetooth, allowing recordings to be captured, displayed and shared as part of a streamlined digital workflow. The single-cable design with five electrodes simplifies lead placement, improves handling and helps reduce the risk of positioning errors. This enables efficient ECG recording, even in settings where ECG examinations are not performed frequently. The device records four standard diagnostic leads, derives four additional leads according to standard relationships and generates the remaining chest leads through synthesis.
