The DermaScope® Polarizer HR is an advanced dermatoscope designed for high-precision skin diagnostics in dermatology practice. A 5-megapixel CMOS camera enables the capture of high-resolution dermatoscopic images, supporting accurate evaluation of pigmented and non-pigmented skin lesions. The integrated fully adjustable polarisation filter technology effectively reduces surface reflections and glare, improving diagnostic reliability. Variable 10x to 50x magnification (without changing working distance) provides flexibility for examining different skin areas. An interchangeable attachment allows a wide field of view at approx. 10x magnification, ideal for documenting larger or multiple lesions. Eight switchable white LEDs ensure uniform illumination, while anti-reflective coated glass optics deliver sharp and colour-accurate imaging. The device features a robust aluminium housing for long-term durability and intensive clinical use. A magnification lock prevents unintentional adjustments, while a microtouch sensor enables convenient image capture. USB 2.0 connectivity ensures full compatibility with Windows and macOS systems and easy integration into existing documentation workflows.
