The DermLite DL5 Plus is designed for advanced dermatoscopy and detailed evaluation of skin lesions. Increased brightness across all operating modes, including enhanced UV fluorescence at 365 nm (over twice as strong as the previous model), supports improved visualisation of vascular patterns, pigmentation changes, porphyrins, vitiligo, fungal infections and early malignant lesions. Variable polarisation allows switching between cross-polarised, non-polarised and parallel-polarised light, enabling targeted assessment of different skin structures. PigmentBoost® technology with nine adjustable colour temperatures improves contrast in pigmented and vascular lesions. The device integrates into digital workflows via the DermLite app, enabling wireless control, smartphone pairing, image capture and structured documentation.
