The digital body fat caliper is suitable for quickly determining the percentage of body fat according to the Jackson and Pollock 3 site formula. The large LCD display makes it easy to read the measured value. In addition to the HOLD function to freeze the measured values, the body fat caliper is equipped with a reset button and a button to shift from inch to millimetre. The caliper is made from robust plastic, is easy to clean and is run by a button cell. To determine the layer thickness of the subcutaneous fat tissue, a skin fold of approx. 5-7cm is taken with thumb and index finger and placed between the jaws of the caliper and clamped with slight pressure. The value can be read on the display and frozen with the HOLD button if needed.
