The Dual Mode infrared thermometer is equipped with a probe cap that can be used for both temperature measurement on the forehead and temperature measurement in the ear canal. Additionally, the thermometer can be used to measure the surface temperature of objects. Each measurement only takes 1 second. For touchless measurement, the probe of the thermometer is placed at a 2cm distance to the forehead or the object. The probe must be flat and close to the surface. If used as an ear thermometer, the probe is inserted into the ear canal. The measurement values can be displayed in °C or °FMeasurement range for the forehead/ear: 32 °C - 43 °C or 89.6 °F - 109.4 °F Measurement range for surfaces: 0 °C - 100 °C or 32 °F - 199.9Internal memory for up to 20 measured values A green LED and 3 short beeps signal the end of a measurement
