The EarScope Pneumatic provides a precise and reliable method for examining the tympanic membrane and external auditory canal. Its compact, ergonomic design ensures comfortable handling in daily clinical use while supporting accurate diagnostics. A 1.3 megapixel CMOS sensor and 55x–90x magnification allow clear visualisation of fine structural details. A key feature is the pneumatic function, which enables objective assessment of tympanic membrane mobility using a rubber bulb. This supports the diagnosis of middle ear conditions, particularly in cases with unclear findings. Examination is minimally invasive and hygienic, supported by single-use specula in sizes 2.5 and 4 mm. Six white LEDs provide uniform illumination, while anti-reflective glass optics ensure clear image quality. The device connects via USB 2.0 and is compatible with Windows and macOS. The included software enables documentation and archiving of examination data and integrates via standard imaging protocols. Certified as a Class I medical device under EU MDR (2017/745), the EarScope Pneumatic meets current safety and quality requirements.
