This HeineScientific torso model is a scaled-down version which clearly shows the human torso and head in detail. The 18-piece, unisex torso model is stable thanks to a sturdy plastic base. Removing the internal organs provides a view of the abdominal cavity, so that the kidney, ureters and ribs can be seen, for example. The torso model is a double-sided model that shows the muscles and tendons on the right side and the skin on the left side. The back of the torso model is open, so that the spine, spinal cord, the rib connections and foramen magnum can all be seen.
