The Erler-Zimmer herniated disc simulator is ideal for doctors, osteopaths and chiropractors to demonstrate fast and easily what happens when a patient suffers from a herniated disc. If the two vertebra are pressed together, the inner core of the disc protrudes, forming a hernia. The protruding hernia illustrates the mechanics and the effect on the spinal nerve. The model in schematic representation is enlarged 2-fold and thus ensures particularly easy handling.
