The IriScope is a compact, digital USB microscope specifically designed for the precise examination of the iris. With a magnification of 10 to 20 times, it enables medical professionals to reliably detect even the finest details such as irritations, foreign bodies, or impurities in the iris—findings that often remain hidden to the naked eye. The high-resolution imaging with 1.3 megapixels ensures razor-sharp images, which can be transferred directly to a Windows or MacOS PC and analysed together with the patient. For optimal examination, the IriScope features two white and two yellow individually switchable LEDs, providing excellent illumination. The yellow LEDs ensure ideal results even with dark irises and reduce distracting reflections and glare. The specially shaped front cap allows for safe and hygienic placement on the eye socket and always ensures the correct distance between the camera and the eye. Thanks to the user-friendly software—available free of charge from the manufacturer—images and videos can be captured at the touch of a button and measured if required.
