This Lang fixation stick finds application in the optometry practice and in orthoptics. The fixation target is a simple tool for capturing the attention of young children and simultaneously serves focus, accommodation and convergence tests. On the front side, there are child-friendly images that are printed at the same distance as the row on the bottom. The symbols from top to bottom are a car, elephant, teddy bear, sail boat, cat, cup, horse, duck and star. The backside of the fixation stick is used for accommodation testing and simple, near-sighted vision testing (30 cm testing distance, visual stage 0.2 to 0.5).
