This pocket otoscope with a 10,000 Lux illumination strength ideally lights up the auditory canal and ear drum, easing diagnostics. The LED illumination is arranged in a ring shape so that a theoretical malfunction of a single LED would not have any impact on the otoscope's functionality. By not using fibre optic illumination, the LuxaScope Auris offers an unhindered field of vision and guarantees ideal examination conditions for otoscopy. Thanks to the insufflation port, pneumatic tests can be carried out with the LuxaScope Auris «Coloured Edition» to test the mobility of the ear drum.
