The LuxaScope dermatoscope with polarisation filter is a compact diagnostic instrument for detailed skin assessment in dermatology. The combination of polarisation and a stepless zoom range with 10x magnification enables a distortion-free and highly detailed image of skin structures with homogeneous illumination. The LED ring with 6 LEDs in concentric arrangement provides even illumination and supports clear visualisation during examinations. With an illumination intensity of 10,000 lux and a colour temperature of approximately 4,250 K, the dermatoscope delivers bright, balanced lighting. Designed for reliable daily use, the dermatoscope is maintenance-free, as no lamp replacement is required, and features an automatic switch-off after 3 minutes. The removable contact plate supports easy cleaning, while the 2-component handle made of aluminium and glass-fibre-reinforced plastic provides a secure grip. The handle can also be combined with other LuxaScope LED otoscope and ophthalmoscope heads.
