The LuxaScope Diagnostic Set 2.5 V combines an LED otoscope (Auris) and an LED ophthalmoscope (Oculus) in a compact pocket format for routine ENT and ophthalmic examinations in medical practice and clinical use. Both instruments feature high-performance, dimmable LED illumination with excellent colour rendering and consistent light quality. Constant current control ensures a long service life (up to 100,000 hours for the otoscope, approx. 50,000 hours for the ophthalmoscope) and maintenance-free operation. The otoscope includes a 6-fold LED ring illumination, a 3x swivelling magnifying lens with locking function, and a connection for pneumatic testing. The ophthalmoscope offers a dioptre range of +20 to -20 and five selectable apertures for flexible examination options. An ergonomic two-component handle made of aluminium and glass fibre reinforced plastic ensures secure handling. The electronic ON/OFF button and automatic switch-off after 3 minutes support efficient daily use. The set is powered by AAA batteries, included in delivery.
