The LuxaScope Sonus SX from LUXAMED is a high-quality dual-head stethoscope designed for use with both adults and children. The precision-machined stainless steel chestpiece combines a large diaphragm (39 mm) and a small bell (32 mm), enabling reliable auscultation across the full frequency range from high to low tones. Switching between diaphragm and bell functions is simple and allows flexible use across different patient groups and examination sites. Excellent sound transmission is achieved through a carefully engineered design made from CNC-milled solid material. Soft silicone eartips ensure a secure, comfortable fit and a reliable seal, helping to reduce ambient noise and improve diagnostic accuracy. Hygiene has been prioritised in the design: the smooth surfaces minimise dirt traps, while the diaphragm retaining ring with SOFTFEEL coating feels pleasant on the skin and allows for quick and thorough cleaning.
