This pregnancy model shows the location of the baby in the mother's womb at around the 40th week of pregnancy. The high-quality, anatomical model shows a longitudinal section through the abdomen of a pregnant woman shortly before birth and is characterised by its highly detailed and life-size representation. To more effectively demonstrate the position of the baby in the abdomen and to expose structures such as the placenta, the baby can be removed from the pregnancy model.
