The RA414 Thyroid Shield provides an effective and comfortable solution for protecting the thyroid gland and sternum during radiological diagnostic procedures. Its universal fit for neck circumferences from 32 to 48 cm ensures broad usability across clinical staff. A hook-and-loop fastener allows quick and secure application, supporting efficient workflows in daily clinical practice. Manufactured from durable MTex material with PU coating, the shield is robust, easy to clean and designed for long-term clinical use. It is certified according to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, ensuring tested material safety and high hygiene standards. The use of MPure radiation protection material in different lead equivalences enables effective shielding across the 50 to 150 kV range. The RA414 is type-tested and certified according to (EU) 2016/425, (EU) 2017/745 and IEC 61331-1:2014 / DIN EN 61331-1:2016 as well as IEC 61331-3:2014 / DIN EN 61331-3:2016, ensuring compliance with current international safety standards for radiation protection.
