The RD639 Allround Protective Apron is designed for use in digital volume tomography (DVT) and provides comprehensive radiation protection for patients at both the front and back. The NovaLite® Plus shielding material (0.35 mm Pb equivalent) ensures reliable protection across the 50–150 kV X-ray range and complies with IEC 61331-1:2014 and DIN EN 61331-1:2016 standards. For enhanced patient safety, an integrated height-adjustable thyroid shield is permanently included without interfering with image quality. A shoulder Velcro fastening system enables easy side application, while an additional rear closure allows individual adjustment for a secure fit. The ComforTex® HPMF Duplex outer material is PFC-free, Oeko-Tex® 100 certified, and designed for hygienic cleaning and low particle emission. An integrated RFID chip supports efficient tracking and documentation. Supplied with a special hanger AW106, the RD639 complies with EU Regulations 2016/425 (PPE) and 2017/745 (Medical Devices) and is available in multiple adult sizes.
