The ri-former Diagnostic Station – Rail Model from Riester provides a modular solution for non-invasive diagnostics in daily medical practice. Designed for horizontal mounting on medical rails, the system integrates seamlessly into existing clinical workflows. Its modular concept allows flexible adaptation to individual departmental requirements. A central power supply enables simultaneous use of two diagnostic handles, each compatible with six interchangeable instrument heads: otoscope, ophthalmoscope, dermatoscope, tongue depressor holder, nasal speculum, and light conductor. An integrated ri-spec specula dispenser supports hygienic handling of ear and nasal specula, helping to reduce cross-contamination and improve patient safety. Five funnel sizes allow patient-specific selection and efficient workflow through easy refilling and cleaning. The ri-former Diagnostic Station complies with Medical Device Regulation (EU) 2017/745 and is classified as a Type B applied part.
