The ri-mini® Ophthalmoscope from Riester combines high-quality design, reliable diagnostics, and a compact form — making it ideal for daily use in clinics and medical practices. The device is suitable for the examination of both adults and children and complies with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2017/745 for medical devices. Thanks to the extremely impact-resistant housing made of glass fibre-reinforced plastic, the ophthalmoscope offers high durability and safety in everyday medical use. The battery handle is compatible with standard AA batteries, allowing flexible and location-independent use. The practical screw cap enables quick and secure attachment of the instrument head to the handle. The ri-mini® Ophthalmoscope is equipped with a HL 2.5 V halogen lamp, which ensures homogeneous illumination and optimal visualisation of the fundus of the eye. For precise findings, there are 16 corrective lenses (0 to +20 and 0 to –20 dioptres) available, whose values can be read on the illuminated dioptre display.
