The ri-scope F.O. nasal speculum is a handheld diagnostic instrument specifically designed for the safe and precise examination of the nasal passage. The integrated fibre optics with 3.5 V LED illumination ensures optimal light transmission and focusing, producing a cool examination light similar to daylight. This significantly contributes to improved visualisation of anatomical structures and increases diagnostic safety. The speculum features a swivelling and removable lens with 2.5x magnification, enabling detailed inspection without loss of focus. Controlled spreading of the speculum is achieved via a screw adjuster, while rapid spreading is possible by simply pressing down the adjuster. This operating concept supports a gentle and individually adaptable examination of the patient. Another advantage is the shock-resistant housing made of glass fibre reinforced plastic, which ensures high durability and reliability in daily work in a medical practice.
