The Riester cardiophon 2.0 has been specially developed for cardiological use and enables you to perform high-precision auscultation of the heart and lungs in both adults and children. Thanks to its innovative acoustic system, this stethoscope offers first-class sound transmission in the clinically relevant frequency range of 200 to 500 Hz. This supports the early and reliable detection of pathological heart sounds and makes an important contribution to patient safety. The high-quality dual-head chestpiece made of stainless steel is equipped with special bilateral membrane (diameter 44 mm and 32 mm, each with a non-chill rim), which ensure optimal adaptation to the skin. The anatomically designed headset with integrated spring and the interchangeable soft ear tips provide a comfortable fit and reliable sealing of the ear canal – even during prolonged use. The Y-tube with separate sound-conducting pathways for the left and right ear enables a particularly differentiated perception of subtle heart and lung sounds.
