The MAVIG RP274 Gonad Protection Pants are designed for paediatric radiation protection and provide a lead equivalent of 1.00 mm Pb, ensuring reliable shielding of the gonads during X-ray examinations in infants and young children. The set includes three sizes for children aged 0 to 6 years, allowing age-appropriate fitting and secure protection. A hook-and-loop fastening system enables quick application, easy removal, and flexible adjustment, supporting efficient workflows in clinical practice. The PFC-free outer material (Oeko-Tex 100 compliant) offers high wearing comfort and meets modern requirements for hygiene and material safety. The inner layer of standard lead provides dependable protection within the 50–150 kV X-ray range in accordance with IEC 61331-1:2014 / DIN EN 61331-1:2016. The product complies with EU Regulation 2016/425 (PPE) and EU 2017/745 (medical devices). An integrated RFID chip supports efficient tracking and management in clinical environments.
