The MAVIG RP679 Ovarian X-Ray Protection with Belt is designed for effective shielding of the ovaries in standing female patients during X-ray examinations. An adjustable stretch belt with hygienic cover allows easy application and flexible adaptation to different body sizes, while a snap fastener ensures quick donning and removal for efficient clinical workflows. The set includes three protector sizes, which are securely attached to the belt using a hook-and-loop system. This enables use for both adults and children with individual, patient-specific adjustment. The protectors are made of standard lead with a lead equivalent of 1.00 mm Pb, ensuring reliable shielding within the 50–150 kV X-ray range. The ComforTex® HPMF outer material provides comfort and durability and complies with DIN EN 13795:2013 as well as EU Regulations 2016/425 and 2017/745. An integrated RFID chip supports efficient inventory and quality management in clinical environments. The RP679 combines reliable radiation protection, hygienic handling and flexible sizing, making it suitable for radiology and paediatric diagnostics.
