The seca 216 measuring rod is equipped with a flexibly selectable measurement range, allowing it to be used for both children and adults. To select the measurement range, the chosen segment is slid into the 138cm long plastic profile. The body height can then be determined with help of the mobile headpiece, and the measurements can be read accurately from the scale on the side of the rod. To relieve the patient while documenting the measurements, the headpiece can be secured to its position with help of a locking screw.
