The SF-H500 suction tube set has been specially developed for use in laparoscopic procedures and enables automated suction as well as smoke evacuation during surgery. By effectively removing fluids and smoke from the surgical field, visibility for the surgeon is significantly improved, which directly contributes to patient safety and therapeutic success. The set consists of a suction tube, an extension tube, a Luer connector, and a connector with different diameters. The individual components are optimally matched for use with the corresponding insufflator and suction device and can be connected easily and securely. The integration of a Luer connector ensures a compatible and tight connection with the trocar, minimising the risk of leakage. A key quality feature is the possibility of reprocessing the set – up to 30 times in compliance with the relevant sterilisation standards (EN 285 / ISO 17665). The packaging material also complies with ISO 11607, ensuring proper and safe storage. Sterilisation is reliably carried out at 134 °C, thus meeting the highest hygiene requirements.
