Skeleton model for learning all important structures

Article No. AK-FD-523

With the school skeleton "Oscar", all the anatomical structures of a human skeleton can be learned perfectly. With the help of the 200 bones, which correspond in size and approximate weight to real human bones, all important structures and foramina are represented. The spinal nerves, the vertebral artery and a dorsolateral herniated disc are also displayed. All joints of the skeleton are freely movable and allow both turning and sliding movements. The shoulders, hips and knees are equipped with rubber joints and allow lifelike movements. Thanks to the quick-release fastener, the limbs can be removed and reassembled easily and quickly. The 3-part skull also features all the important structures, but also illustrates fissures, foramina and processus. Furthermore, the skullcap is aligned with metal pins and held together by magnets. This technology means that there is no gap between the skullcap and the base of the skull. The entire skeleton is made of an unbreakable plastic and, thanks to the sturdy workmanship and robust design, guarantees a long service life even with intensive use. Mounted on a 5-legged rolling stand, the model has a size of 178 cm and weighs approx. 9 kg.
