The SmartScript Ergometry network-compatible PC ECG system from Dr Gerhard Schmidt is used to perform resting, rhythm and stress ECGs. In emergency situations, the recording of ECGs is also possible without entering specific patient data. The 12-lead ECG examinations are automatically stored in a client/server SQL database and the trend curves of heart rate, load and blood pressure are also stored in the database. The ECG system is particularly user-friendly, and is supplied with various software packages. These facilitate the handling of the examination, accelerate work processes and reduce sources of error. Both the practice EDP software and the network licence offer the possibility of connecting up to 5 workstations to the system. While the practice EDP software accelerates and facilitates the data transfer of recorded examinations, the network licence enables the installation of the software.
