The SpiroSonic AIR is a high-precision, digital spirometer efficiently supports the diagnosis of lung diseases such as asthma and COPD. By employing the innovative IDEGEN™ ultrasound technology, the device measures airflow with high accuracy and minimal flow resistance, which is particularly beneficial for children, elderly, and severely ill patients. This ultrasound-based measurement method eliminates the need for traditional moving parts like turbines or pistons, reducing wear and tear and ensuring consistent performance over time. The measurement data are securely transmitted via Bluetooth Low Energy to PC or mobile devices, where they can be analysed, graphically displayed, and archived using specialised software. This enables seamless integration into existing clinical workflows and facilitates the documentation-required reporting and billing. The accompanying software also supports standardized lung function parameters and offers customizable reporting templates to meet diverse clinical needs. The robust construction made of easy-to-disinfect, durable materials without moving parts significantly enhances patient safety and hygiene. Additionally, the automatic calibration befo
