The Stet Cube offers you an innovative and evidence-based solution for the rapid, safe, and user-friendly disinfection of stethoscopes. Especially in medical facilities, where the stethoscope head comes into contact with numerous patients every day, consistent hygiene is a key aspect of patient safety and infection prevention. The Stet Cube utilises UV-C LED technology (wavelength 260–290 nm) to efficiently inactivate pathogenic microorganisms within minutes, without the use of chemicals. Application is extremely simple: you place the stethoscope head into the device and close the magnetic lid. The disinfection process starts automatically – a microprocessor control and dual safety mechanisms (microswitch and proximity sensor) ensure that the UV-C radiation is only activated when the lid is closed and a stethoscope is inserted. This reliably protects users and patients from unintended exposure to radiation. Particularly practical for everyday clinical use: the Stet Cube is compatible with all common types and sizes of stethoscopes, including paediatric and cardiology models.
