The Chison Virtual Apex Extension Function is designed for use with phased array probes and is compatible with the CBit 9, CBit 10 and XBit 80 ultrasound systems. It expands the field of view up to 120° by virtually extending the imaging area across the entire probe surface. This allows for enhanced visualisation of heart walls and peripheral structures, particularly during cardiac examinations. The optimised image geometry makes it easier to see anatomical details lateral to the standard imaging axis, significantly improving diagnostic accuracy.
