Data We Collect

You may provide your name, email address, telephone number, company details, project requirements and attachments through contact forms, quotation requests and chat. Account services process registration, profile and order information. Career applications may include contact details, professional experience and a CV. Technical website data is also processed as described below.

Purpose & Legal Basis

We use enquiry and quotation data to respond to your request and take pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, where applicable). Contract and account information supports service delivery; statutory records may be processed to meet legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)). Where consent is required, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(a), and consent may be withdrawn for the future. Website security and operational analysis require a documented assessment of legitimate interests under Art. 6(1)(f); non-essential device storage requires consent where applicable.

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or to comply with legal obligations. Typically, this is up to 3 years after the last contact unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law.

Data Sharing & Security

We do not sell personal data. Service providers involved in hosting, account authentication, email delivery and support may process data on our behalf. Manufacturers and logistics partners may receive information necessary for project delivery. Appropriate technical and organisational measures are used to protect information and restrict access.

Website operation & first-party analytics

The website records visited pages, page titles, referral sources, campaign parameters, device category, browser, operating system, language and visit duration. Random visitor and session identifiers are stored in localStorage and sessionStorage. Country and city may be derived server-side; the visitor tracking system uses a hashed IP identifier rather than retaining the raw IP address in its visit records. These records are pseudonymous, not anonymous.

Google Analytics, Google Ads and LinkedIn advertising tags are currently not configured. This does not mean that first-party website statistics or browser storage are absent. Any activation of additional tracking requires the corresponding privacy information and consent controls where required.

Browser storage & account sessions

Browser storage supports account sessions, chat continuity, language preferences and shopping or request workflows. The website also stores visitor identifiers and campaign attribution. You can clear stored information in your browser; this may sign you out or reset saved preferences. Necessary session storage and optional analytics must be assessed separately under applicable privacy and device-storage rules.

Online chat & AI-assisted responses

Messages and the contact details you choose to provide may be processed to respond to support requests. In AI-assisted mode, your message and relevant conversation context may be processed by the AI service used by the website. Do not submit patient records, diagnoses or other sensitive health information. Chat is not medical advice; please contact a qualified healthcare professional for clinical questions.

Applications, accounts & enquiries

Application materials are used to assess suitability and communicate with applicants. Account information is used for sign-in, profile management and order or quotation workflows. Contact requests and attachments are accessible only to personnel and service providers who need them for the relevant purpose. Please do not include unnecessary sensitive information in attachments.

International processing

AKLION FZ-LLC is established in the United Arab Emirates. Data may be processed there and in countries used by our service providers. Where GDPR transfer requirements apply, an appropriate transfer mechanism and safeguards are required.
