The boso TM-2450 cBP upgrade enables the additional calculation of the central blood pressure with your existing boso TM-2450 long-term blood pressure monitor. The cBP - central blood pressure or aortic blood pressure - is present directly in the aorta and thus has a direct influence on important organs such as the heart, brain or kidneys and is considered an important predictor of cardiovascular damage and complications. Compared to peripheral blood pressure, central blood pressure is more informative and has a better correlation to hypertensive organ damage. The subsequent upgrade of your boso 24h sphygmomanometer to calculate the central blood pressure upgrades the device, extends the diagnosis and eliminates the need of a new purchase. Please note: The upgrade with the cBP upgrade is done directly by the manufacturer boso. For this purpose, the TM-2450 is sent to the manufacturer. After the upgrade, you will receive your 24h sphygmomanometer back with firmware, software and current instructions for use. The processing time is approx. 14 days. The long-term blood pressure monitor shown is not included in the scope of delivery.
