Description

The Erler-Zimmer deluxe childbirth model set is used to demonstrate the birth process. The flexible pelvis model can be manipulated to demonstrate how the pelvis moves to accommodate delivery. The foetal model corresponds to an average-sized, mature baby and is also movable. It has palpable anterior and posterior fontanels. The fabric perineum can be attached to the pelvis by means of elastic straps and allows for episiotomy and emergence of the foetal head. The placenta/ umbilical cord/ amnion/ chorion model can simulate the foetal model in an amniotic sac, which can be closed with a pull cord.
