Description

The Tomey optotype monitor enables digital visual acuity testing in a space-saving format and impresses with its wide range of different visual tests. The monitor offers various test procedures and enables user-friendly visual acuity testing and refraction. Five different optotypes can be selected: Osterberg, EDTRS, low vision, cross test and "hearing impaired". The high-quality LCD screen with a non-reflective surface ensures precise and high-contrast display of the test characters. The monitor combines many tests that were previously only available individually in manual format as a digital version in one examination device. Thus, there is no need to purchase individual manuals, the monitor contains all common tests, such as Amsler, colour and contrast sensitivity tests and thus enables a particularly time-saving and user-friendly examination and refraction, regardless of the symptoms. Depending on the model, the optotype model can also offer a driver's license test or the MKH test procedure. The driver's license test with model TCP-2000P fulfils the German legal requirements while the measurement and correction method from Hans-Joachim Haase (MKH) determines a heterophoria. The
