Description

The PHYSIO-PORT AS from PAR Medizintechnik is a compact and portable monitoring device designed for 24-hour blood pressure measurement in patients aged 18 and above. The measurement is conducted using the oscillometric principle optionally in the inflation or deflation phase. The user-friendly design allows for features such as a quick switch between day and night modes, ensuring reliable measurement data. After completing the measurements, blood pressure data can be transferred to a PC, stored and analysed using the corresponding software. The PHYSIO-PORT AS is available with an optional PWA function. Immediately after blood pressure measurement, the measured mean arterial pressure level (MAD) is set in the cuff, and the pulsesin the cuff are recorded for 15 seconds. Disturbances are removed from the recorded pulses. From the usable pulses, the pulse that is located centrally at the heart is reconstructed non-invasively to determine the central blood pressure and the pulse wave velocity.
