The Welch Allyn Pocket Junior Diagnostic Set is ideal for examining ears, eyes, nose and throat. It includes an otoscope and an ophthalmoscope with bright 3.5V halogen illumination, and is suitable for use with both children and adults. It operates on 2 AA batteries. The ophthalmoscope features a durable rubber brow rest for added comfort. The continuously rotating aperture dial allows for precise aperture adjustment, while a multiplier switch enables 48 lens combinations. A filter switch provides a choice between open and red-free filters, with diopter values clearly readable – positive values in green and negative in red. Both devices feature ergonomic handles and come in a soft case. Ear specula are also included.
