Description

This spinal column model shows the human vertebrae, pelvis and femoral heads. The spinal column model was created by casting a real human vertebral column and thus illustrates details and structures that a pure imitation could not show. In addition to showing the anatomy of the vertebral column and pelvis, a herniated disc and a spinal injury can be seen on the lumbar vertebrae. The femoral heads are mounted in place but are movable, so that surgical procedures of the pelvic girdle and the hip joint can be explained and demonstrated. This model of the vertebral column, pelvis and femoral heads comes delivered, complete, with a hanger and metal stand.
