Description

The 3M™ Actisorb™ (silver-free) is an activated charcoal wound dressing with a nylon cover for the treatment of chronic wounds. The activated charcoal binds 99% of the bacteria tested in vitro and helps neutralise unpleasant odours that can arise from wound exudate, supporting patient comfort and well-being. The special nylon cover prevents the dressing from adhering to the wound, allowing gentle removal during dressing changes. The dressing can be used with a secondary dressing and is available in various sizes for flexible wound care. 3M™ Actisorb™ (silver-free) is suitable for chronic wounds of various aetiologies, including ulcers, exulcerating carcinomas and other wound types.
