Description

The 3M™ Kerrasol™ Wound Gel is a ready-to-use hydrogel designed for cleaning and moistening wounds. Its formulation with sodium hypochlorite has antimicrobial efficacy against viruses, bacteria and fungi, including gram-negative bacteria such as Pseudomonas. The gel works through an oxidative mechanism and does not promote the development of resistance. It is suitable for low-pain application and helps maintain a moist wound environment, supporting comfortable wound care and helping to reduce unpleasant odours. The alcohol-free formulation is gentle on the skin and suitable for use as part of wound care. Supplied in a practical 20 g tube, the gel allows precise and hygienic application. The 3M™ Kerrasol™ Wound Gel acts through the active ingredient sodium hypochlorite, which disinfects oxidatively in the wound and thus reduces the microbial load.
