Description

The 3M™ Medipore™ H Soft Cloth Surgical Tape is a conformable, breathable medical tape with a bi-directional stretch that accommodates swelling, distension and movement. The soft, perforated nonwoven cloth provides flexible, secure fixation and is particularly suitable when movement or swelling is anticipated. The tape is suitable for dressings and added pressure, as well as secondary securement of I.V. lines and tubing, central venous catheters, chest tubes and surgical drain tubes. Its strong adhesion makes it suitable for more challenging fixation requirements, while the flexible material moves with the patient. The highly breathable material is soft and not made with natural rubber latex. Lateral perforations make the tape easy to tear by hand without scissors, supporting quick and convenient application. On removal, the tape minimises skin stripping and adhesive residue, helping to improve patient comfort. Single-use length rolls can also help reduce the risk of cross-contamination.
