Description

The 3M™ Microfoam™ Surgical Tape is a highly elastic foam tape for versatile use in clinical and outpatient settings. It is suitable for securing dressings, adding pressure to dressings and providing flexible support where swelling or movement is anticipated. Its multidirectional stretch conforms well to body contours and accommodates movement and changes in swelling. The elastic foam material provides cushioning and comfortable, flexible securement, making the tape particularly suitable for areas exposed to movement. It can also be used for the secondary securement of I.V. lines and tubing, central venous catheters, chest tubes and surgical drain tubes. The tape is easy to cut to size, facilitating precise application and efficient handling. It is not made with natural rubber latex and is available in various widths, with 5 metres per roll for practical use in a range of clinical applications.
