Description

The 3M™ Micropore™ S Silicone Surgical Tape is an elastic surgical tape with a skin-friendly, hypoallergenic adhesive, making it suitable for use on sensitive skin. The silicone-based adhesive is free from polyacrylate and natural rubber latex and provides a dependable hold while allowing the tape to be removed cleanly with minimal adhesive residue. The breathable carrier material helps to reduce the risk of skin maceration, making the tape suitable for applications of up to 48 hours. The silicone adhesive also helps minimise skin trauma during removal and can help reduce the risk of medical adhesive-related skin injuries (MARSI). The tape is suitable for blood draws, lightweight dressings and secondary fixation of IV lines and non-critical tubes. It can be repositioned during application when adjustments are required and can be easily torn by hand both crosswise and lengthwise. The integrated side guards protect the roll from contamination and support hygienic handling. The 3M™ Micropore™ S Silicone Surgical Tape is available in various widths, with a roll length of 5 metres, providing options for different applications in healthcare settings.
