Description

The ALLEVYN™ Life wound dressing from Smith & Nephew is particularly suitable for chronic wounds with moderate to heavy exudation. It is designed to allow longer intervals between dressing changes by lasting twice as long as other dressings. This is ensured by the 5-layer design with a superabsorbent core and hydrocellular polyurethane foam. The integrated dressing change indicator shows when the dressing has become saturated and should be changed. Thanks to the wide silicone adhesive rim and the silicone wound overlay layer, the ALLEVYN Life is particularly long long-lasting. The special shape of the foam dressing adapts optimally to all areas of the body. The breathable, but at the same time bacteria-proof outer film is waterproof, so that the dressing does not have to be removed even during showers.
