Description

The aluderm®-aluplast elastic finger joint dressing is a specially designed dressing for the management of injuries in the area of the finger joints. Thanks to pre-cut, anatomically adapted adhesive surfaces, the dressing can be applied particularly easily and securely, while maintaining the mobility of the affected joint. The aluminium-coated wound pad prevents adhesion to the wound and enables an atraumatic dressing change. The highly absorbent absorbent fleece supports the maintenance of a moist wound environment, which promotes wound healing and reduces the risk of maceration. The highly elastic polyester fleece adapts optimally to the movements of the finger and ensures pleasant wearing comfort. The hypoallergenic polyacrylate adhesive is additionally activated by body heat, provides secure adhesion and is also suitable for patients with sensitive skin or plaster allergies. The dressing is water-repellent, breathable and non-irritant. The individually hygienically sealed plasters ensure easy, needs-based removal and protect against contamination, which contributes to high user and patient safety especially in daily work in a medical practice.
