Description

The aluderm®-aluplast wound dressing by Söhngen has been specially developed to meet the requirements of daily work in a medical practice and is particularly suitable for the treatment of sensitive skin or in cases of plaster allergies. The aluminium-coated aluderm® wound pad ensures atraumatic wound care, as it does not adhere to the wound and leaves no fibres behind. The dressing is highly absorbent, breathable, and at the same time water-repellent, ensuring optimal wound healing as well as effective protection against external influences. The highly elastic polyester fleece as carrier material and the polyacrylate adhesive activated by body heat provide high adaptability to different parts of the body and movements. This supports reliable fixation without irritating the skin. Due to its hypoallergenic and non-irritant properties, the dressing is also suitable for patients with sensitive skin. For maximum hygiene and patient safety, the dressings are individually sealed. The product is available in two sizes and each pack contains 10 ready-to-use dressings, enabling efficient and flexible wound care in both practice and clinical settings.
