Description

The CERDAK™ Aerocloth Ceramic Wound Dressing provides an innovative solution for the management of acute and chronic wounds. Its structure of microporous ceramic granules embedded in a sterile cellulose pouch ensures effective absorption of excess exudate and supports a moist wound environment that promotes healing. The high porosity of the ceramic material allows large volumes of wound fluid to be absorbed while binding microorganisms and harmful substances directly within the dressing. This helps reduce the bacterial load without the use of chemical or medicinal additives, supporting a more natural healing process and helping to shorten the inflammatory phase. The open structure also enables continuous oxygen exchange at the wound bed, supporting cell proliferation and helping to minimise scar formation. Application is straightforward: select the appropriate size, place the shiny side on the wound, and replace the dressing once it is around 70% discoloured. Regular changes can also be carried out by the patient, helping to simplify routine wound care in clinical and outpatient settings.
