DERMABOND™ ADVANCED™ is a modern topical skin adhesive for atraumatic wound closure in clinical use. The formulation based on 2-octyl cyanoacrylate provides high tensile strength combined with excellent flexibility, ensuring reliable approximation of wound edges and stable closure in everyday practice. Application is simple and controlled using an ergonomically designed pen applicator, allowing precise and efficient use. Once applied, the adhesive forms a protective microbial barrier on the skin, providing in vitro up to 99% protection for 72 hours against common pathogens and supporting enhanced patient safety. It is suitable for wounds up to 15 cm in length and features a fast drying time with single-layer application, enabling efficient treatment workflows.
