Description

Durafiber™ wound dressing supports more efficient daily work in modern wound care across medical environments. The highly absorbent and gel-forming dressing is suitable for chronic and acute wounds with moderate to high exudation. Its special cellulose fibre matrix rapidly absorbs exudate, maintains a moist wound environment and supports optimal healing conditions. The wound dressing adapts flexibly to the wound bed and, thanks to its gel matrix, enables atraumatic, low-pain removal – providing extra comfort for you and your patients. Another advantage: Depending on the wound situation, Durafiber™ can remain on the wound for up to 7 days. This reduces the number of dressing changes and ensures time savings and efficient team workflows. Application is straightforward: After cleaning the wound, the appropriate size is selected, cut to fit if necessary, and securely fixed with an additional dressing, e.g. a moisture dressing. The minimal shrinkage ensures reliable coverage. In addition, the dressing does not adhere to the wound and minimises the risk of maceration of the surrounding skin. Choose a wound dressing that combines ease of use, patient safety and high wearing comfort – idea
