Description

DURAMAX™ S from Smith & Nephew is a super-absorbent dressing, specifically designed for the treatment of heavily exuding wounds. The 6-layer design absorbs and retains viscous exudate, even under compression, while the water-vapour-permeable top sheet ensures breathability. The non-occlusive dressing promotes a moist wound environment and helps prevent maceration and irritation of both the wound bed and the surrounding skin. Designed for patient comfort, the dressing features a cross-linked silicone wound contact layer that minimizes adhesion to the wound, making removal painless. DURAMAX™ S is available in different sizes and is ideal for wound types such as leg ulcers, diabetic foot syndrome and second-degree burns.
